Apparently some women find this cake topper offensive. I guess it looks old fashioned or repressive that a woman would have to drag her guy to the altar. Well, I have no problem with the world knowing something about me: I am going to have to drag my guy to the altar! He is a dude. He doesn't care about weddings. If he had his way, we would skip all of it and go straight to the part where we have kids. I want to have a cake topper like this because everyone knows how much I want to get married and I can have a sense of humor about it.
Lucky for me, I have a SUPER talented cousin who makes figures from a material called sculpey. It's a clay that he uses and he makes awesome characters whose detail is incredibly realistic. I thought it would be so sweet for him to make a cake topper of me dragging my guy to the alter, and it will look like us! There are companies who do this, but they are expensive. I think it would be SO much more special if my cousin makes it for us! I hope it will look something like this:

Okay, I'm officially so glad I found you... I don't know if you stumbled onto my comment somewhere on the blogosphere, but I wrote that I actually have that exact cake topper! (The top one, obviously.) I also think it's funny, though with BB proposing after only 3 months it's more ironic in the opposite direction and if there was one of the groom dragging the bride I would've bought it! I would love it if everyone in the world could just keep their sense of humour about them at all times...
