An Amazing Weekend...

We had such an incredible weekend!
We had family come in town on Friday, and the party was Saturday night.  Saturday was a fun day filled with decorating, cooking and laughing.  We took a break to get our nails done and it was so much fun to have some time with my aunt, sister and sister-in-law.  We had a blast decorating, and my aunt and mom went over the top with the Paris theme.  Here is the dining room table before the food went out...
Aunt Renee spent so long getting the Eiffel tower to look just right with the lights.  Isn't is gorgeous?
Table again...
My aunt on the left and mom on the right getting the decorations out.
Here are my glasses with name tags that the lovely Julia helped me come up with.
They turned out so cute, and everyone loved the touch of having a glass with their name on it.
On Sunday we went to a bridal shop to try on some dresses.  It was a bittersweet experience for me.  I tried on the Jessica dress and she is BEAUTIFUL!  However, it's pretty frustrating to not be a size that I'm comfortable with right now.  I was so sad trying on dresses that were all half the size I actually wear.

Due to the sadness that was trying on dresses, I have a new obsession with losing weight, and I'm going to be super diligent about it again.  I've lost 12 pounds on Weight Watchers, but I've kind of slacked lately.  Back on the FIT TRAIN!

It looks like a great party. So cute with the Eiffel Tower! And I like what you did with the tags.

Good luck with the fit train. All of a sudden now I'm obsessed with my shoulder muscles. Weird!

You go girl, 12 lbs. is an amazing accomplishment! I know it is hard... i'm struggling trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle myself.

Loved your decorations... so cute, and they 'fit' perfectly with your proposal.

Try to lose weight if you want to, not to fit in to a dress. That was the best piece of advice I got when I got married. There is so much other stress that we tend to not reach our goals in time. You will look gorgeous no matter what.
